MAZZANEH STORY 3

MAZZANEH: A New Era of Digital Commerce

So far, we've rolled out some pretty great features for our users, especially for businesses, with MAZZANEH. Every single option we've built is all about making buying and selling simpler, faster, and smarter – creating a truly fresh and intuitive experience.
For the first time, using MAZZANEH Begir and especially MAZZANEH Radar, we've made a huge positive impact. We've managed to attract and connect people who weren't really keen on online shopping or selling. By blending traditional and modern transactions, we've brought a big chunk of society into the digital world of commerce. And yeah, it's even had some good social ripple effects.

But in my eyes, that wasn't quite enough. My vision for MAZZANEH was always to evolve it into an app that truly integrates with people's daily lives, becoming my ultimate goal: the 24-hour intelligent assistant and consultant, "Zoyan" (which we'll dive into more detail about later). However, reaching "Zoyan" required a ton of groundwork. I had to essentially reverse-engineer from the "Zoyan" stage, pinpoint the problems, and then tackle them with fresh ideas. Once that path was mapped out, it was about building it out, step by step.
One of the most crucial prerequisites was getting specific user information – the kind that's not recorded anywhere else and that no one has ever asked for before. I needed to create features that would allow us to gather this data and move forward with our plan.

This is when it hit me: we needed to implement features in MAZZANEH that would make users, both sellers and regular folks, check in regularly, every single day. Since MAZZANEH isn't an entertainment or news app, this was a tough nut to crack. Then it clicked: platforms people check daily all offer things that boost users' dopamine levels, making them feel entertained and happy. So, I also needed to build options centered around enjoyment. And that led to: creating a unique and consistent income stream. This wouldn't be anything like loyalty programs or coupons. Instead, people could earn a different kind of income through MAZZANEH – a substantial amount, with a simple process, just like buying and selling.

Okay, so then I had to figure out how to generate this income. And crucially, this income source shouldn't come from MAZZANEH's own revenue. It needed to be structured so it created income for users AND secured MAZZANEH's interests! A financial source that benefits the buyer, the seller, and MAZZANEH! Is that even possible?

Yes! Since my approach is always to find solutions for the seemingly impossible, that's exactly what we did here.
It all started with understanding that in MAZZANEH, we have sellers and customers. Sellers are always looking to attract customers, and they spend money to do it. If I could find a way for sellers to spend less than they would on traditional advertising methods, and in return, they would attract their exact target customers, preventing any ad spend from being wasted on irrelevant people – that's precisely what I wanted. It meant directing that money specifically to target customers. For example, the money a music store spends on advertising, much of which reaches people who aren't their target audience, we would instead take that money and give it directly to the primary audience. We'd give the advertising cost of a pet shop precisely to people who own pets.

And this idea became the main and critical starting point of this whole endeavor. The seller, or advertiser, spends less, attracts their precise target audience, and there's zero waste! Because when their target audience follows their account on MAZZANEH, the amount they've set is deducted from their account and added to the customer's account.

Unlocking User Data for Targeted Opportunities

So, how do we know who is the audience for which store? Right at the beginning of this explanation, I mentioned that for MAZZANEH to reach its ideal goal, it needs specific user information. This information is exactly what determines which businesses each person is a target audience for in different areas! And here, to enable users to earn money, we first need them to tell us who they are and what their characteristics, interests, skills, taste, etc., are.
Of course, a crucial point is how to get this information without violating privacy. The solution is that the user only follows the advertiser's store account (though they can't unfollow for 6 months, and I'll explain why later). Sellers only see relevant followers, for example, with user code #2123. The seller's goal in advertising is to attract a target audience who will recognize them and, more importantly, see their products, and this will happen. So, the first idea for generating income, while securing the interests of the seller, buyer, and MAZZANEH, was born. But we're not stopping at just this option; we need more ideas and options for users to earn even more.

To find and create more options for users to earn money, as always, I first had to identify a problem. After a lot of research and thought, I ran into an issue we'd even experienced ourselves with outdoor advertising: the inability to convey the full message, options, or features of a product to the audience, something a billboard or short ad just couldn't achieve.
This is where I realized that we needed to implement a method to deliver the messages an advertiser wants to convey to their audience. And that method is to show the product advertisement, along with all its explanations and features, in the form of images and descriptions (not too long, not too short) to the target audience. We'd ask them to remember this content and the product's features. After that, they'd participate in a 20-second quiz with 4 multiple-choice questions (the questions are random and entirely based on the materials and descriptions they just read). If the user can answer all 4 questions correctly, they can win a prize that's been set for them, which is usually a high amount due to the many benefits for the advertiser! This type of advertising is called MAZZANEH Board.

To participate, users must first answer our questions about the aforementioned items, and once each user's target businesses are identified, the advertisements and the option to earn income through following will be activated for them.

 Time and Verification
So far, we've managed to create two monetization methods for users (both businesses and regular users), and users can earn income from these two methods by completing their information. This is where we hit a major hurdle: how to verify and authenticate the information users had registered? Because a user could easily provide false information in various areas and make themselves a target audience for most businesses.
To solve this problem and verify users, the first thing we needed was time so we could authenticate user information through various analyses and checks. The first solution I came up with was to create restrictions in various areas to gain enough time for this. In the initial step, I tried to limit withdrawals from their earnings in a way that wouldn't cause discouragement.

If false information is registered in response to questions and we discover it, the person's entire account will be blocked and non-withdrawable, and that person with that IP will never be able to re-enter MAZZANEH.

When withdrawing money from the user's account, they must provide their real identity information through an ID card or similar, so they can't multiply their income in MAZZANEH with different usernames and phones.

When withdrawing money from the user's account, they must provide their real identity information through an ID card or similar, so they can't multiply their income in MAZZANEH with different usernames and phones.

This led us to add a wallet option to MAZZANEH. Every user, after registration and upon entering the app, received an account with a $2000 balance. However, to withdraw this amount, they needed to obtain a 10-digit password within MAZZANEH to make this amount withdrawable. The user earns one password for every $200 they earn. This proved to be an advantage both in terms of gamification and giving us the necessary time.

This is how users can follow a maximum of 3 businesses per day and only participate in one MAZZANEH Board contest. This is how we were able to gain enough time to verify user information by applying logical restrictions. For this, we use various methods:

In the second step, to prevent users from reaching $2000 too quickly (because a user could give us a lot of incorrect information about themselves and become an audience for most businesses, and within two days, by participating in MAZZANEH Board ads and following various businesses, reach this amount and request a withdrawal, which would devalue these campaigns for businesses, and we wouldn't be able to verify the person's information that quickly, and since we couldn't let that happen), and to maintain professional standards while ensuring users visit the app daily, we had to limit participation in ads and following businesses.

The user must make one purchase from one of the businesses within a maximum of 3 to 4 months for each characteristic they have declared.
Subsequent items can't be publicly announced because they might cause the user to behave manipulatively. But overall, we assure businesses that if money is paid from your account to a user who isn't your target audience, rest assured that if the person has registered false information, it will be returned to your account.
Note: The currency unit in MAZZANEH is called MZN, where one MZN equals 400 cents.
